Antonio Merloni Plans EUR 186 mln Investment in Ukraine

Antonio Merloni has announced plans to invest EUR 186 mln into its Ardo washing machine plant in Ivano-Frankivsk (Western Ukraine) by 2017. To date, the company has already put about EUR 50 mln into launching the plant, which has an annual design capacity of 1 mln washing machines. Antonio Merloni has evaluated the Ukrainian market’s annual capacity for washing machines at 350 ths units and turnover of USD 120 mln, with an annual increase of 15%.
