The Rada announced yesterday that it was pushing back a vote on its allotment of Constitutional Court judges until March 15. This is the third time the vote has been cancelled. Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn said that the vote had to be cancelled to avoid violence in the Rada. When asked how he knew there was going to be trouble Lytvyn said that he could always tell when the deputies came to work ready to fight because they leave their ties and expensive jewellery at home – never a dull moment in the Rada.
