Astarta in talks with Danone on joint project in dairy

Astarta (WSE: AST PW), a Ukrainian refined sugar producer, said it started talks with France’s Danone on a large-scale joint milk production and processing project in Ukraine, according to a press release issued yesterday. Astarta said the partnership will enhance its dairy business’ efficiency. Danone is one of the largest dairy producers in Ukraine, it has eight regional offices and a plant in Kherson.
