Astarta purchases 19 tractors for EUR 3 mln

Astarta (WSE: AST PW) announced yesterday that it purchased 19 Fendt 936 tractors for EUR 3.04 mln, local media reports said. The Fendt tractors, due to their technical capabilities, allow for savings of 20% per ha of land compared to analogous equipment. Astarta said in a press release last month that it plans to buy 90 units of agricultural machinery by the end of 2010 for about USD 10 mln.
