Automobile Production Up 37.7% yoy in 6M07

According to the State Statistics Committee, Ukraine’s automobile production jumped 37.7% yoy to 163.3 ths vehicles in 6M07.  The Ukravto-related (AVTO: N/R) Zaporizhzhiya Automobile Plant produced the largest number of vehicles, 119ths, an increase of 43% yoy. The Bohdan Automobile Plant which includes LuAZ (LUAZ: N/R), increased output by 10.6% yoy, turning out 25.3 ths vehicles. Eurocar saw its output grow by 50.3% to 13.3 ths cars.
