AvtoKrAZ raises truck output 16.2% yoy in 1H08

AvtoKrAZ (KRAZ: HOLD) increased its truck production 16.2% yoy to 2191 units in 1H08, the company announced yesterday. The share of dump trucks in the total output was 48.8%; general purpose trucks 39%; tractor trucks 11.4%. Inna Perepelytsya: Our full-year production forecast for AvtoKrAZ is 5,100 trucks. We believe the company will increase production in 2H08, as it did in 2007 (in 1H07 AvtoKrAZ produced 1,889 trucks, in 2H07 2,438 trucks).
