AvtoKrAZ Targets Central Asia.

The company (KRAZ: HOLD) produced 320 trucks in November. Sales made up 382 units – 52% increase yoy, and 8% increase m-o-m. In January-November AvtoKrAZ increased production by 62.2% to 3,271 automobiles, and sold 3,001 trucks, a 51.9% increase yoy. The company also signed agreement for the delivery of 115 dump trucks to be used in Turkmenistan’s oil and gas sector. KRAZ also announced plans to start assembly production of trucks in Tajikistan in 2H06. All issues concerning the creation of a JV are to be agreed upon by April of next year.
