Azot Cherkasy acquired by Dmitry Firtash’s Group DF

Ukrainian businessman Dmitry Firtash’s Group DF announced the acquisition of Azot Cherkasy from DCH Holding controlled by businessman Alexander Yaroslavsky, Interfax reported yesterday. The volume of the deal was not disclosed. In 9M10, Azot Cherkasy recorded net sales of UAH 2.96 bln and a net loss of UAH 124.9 mln. The plant’s estimated capacity is 2 mln mt of fertilizers per year.
