Azot Cherkasy Increases Annual Caprolactam Capacity By 10% To 55K Mt.

In 2006 Azot Cherkasy will increase capacity further to 60 mt/year. Caprolactam is used to make synthetic fibre, threads and plastics. Concorde Capital: Nearly 68% of Azot Cherkasy’s (AZOT) total output was exported in 2004, the only internal consumer of caprolactam is ?Chernigivske Khimvolokno? which producers polyamide.
