Azovmash launches steel production facility

Azovmash group, which includes Azovzahalmash (AZGM) and Mariupol Heavy Machinery (MZVM), is completing the second and final stage of launching Azovelektrostal, a steel production facility. Azovmash said that it is now carrying out hot testing of billet continuous casting equipment, which has an annual output of 400 ths mt. The facility will produce shaped billets of 250 mm and 400 mm, which the group will use to make railcar axles.
