Azovmash output declines 43.5% yoy in 1Q09

Azovmash, which includes Azovzahalmash (AZGM) and Mariupol Heavy Machinery (MZVM), said on Friday that its production over 1Q09 was down 43.5% yoy to 1,543 railcars. The company said that demand for cisterns remains robust: cistern production grew 11.0% yoy to 1,489 cisterns in 1Q09.
