Azovmash Sales Up 25.5% yoy in 8M07

Azovmash, the holding company for Azovzahalmash (AZGM: BUY) and Mariupol Heavy Machinery (MZVM: BUY), increased sales 25.5% yoy to USD 515 mln in 8M07 (more than 90% of which were railcars). Exports accounted for 69.4% of sales. Production volumes of freight cars and platforms were also up during the period – 18% yoy – to 6,354 units overall.
