Black Iron announces formation of Ukraine advisory board

Black Iron Inc (TSE: BKI CA), the Canadian iron ore exploration and development company that owns the Shymanivske license in Kryviy Rih, Ukraine, announced the creation of a non-executive Ukraine advisory board, according to a press release issued yesterday. The board’s responsibilities include advising on how to operate effectively in Ukraine. Black Iron appointed three inaugural Ukraine-based members: Daniel Bilak, partner at the law firm CMS Cameron McKenna; Jaroslav Kinach, former Ukraine country head of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development; and Igor Buchatskiy, former director of Smart Holdings. Black Iron listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange in March 2011, after IPO of an 18.5% stake, raising USD 35.9 mln.
