Cabinet Investigates New Electricity Export Options

Ukraine’s Cabinet will study the economic benefits of exporting electricity to Georgia, Turkey and Iran, Defense and Security Council Secretary Petro Poreschenko announced today. Concorde Capital: If the government finds it feasible to export energy to these countries, it will be good news for the country?s electricity generation companies, as it will increase their ability to utilize capacity. At present, most generation companies are burdened with greater generation capacity than Ukraine can utilize.
