CEC counts 100% of vote: Yanukovych, Tymoshenko advance

The Central Election Commission reported this morning the results of Sunday’s presidential election with 100% of the votes counted: Viktor Yanukovych – 35.32%, Yulia Tymoshenko – 25.05%, Sergiy Tigipko – 13.06%, Arseniy Yatseniuk – 6.96% and Viktor Yushchenko – 5.45%. The count confirms that Yanukovych and Tymoshenko will advance to a second round, to be held on February 7.
