Cement Makers Announce Mixed Production Figures.

Cement output figures for August were mostly positive, although Kryvyy Rig Cement and Dniprocement, both owned by HeidelbergCement (Germany), posted decreases in cement output, but increased clinker production by 10.4% and 11.5%, respectively. HeidelbergCement’s third plant Doncement sharply increased cement output. Olha Pankiv: HeidelbergCement appears to be redistributing production from two plants where capacities were heavily loaded to Doncement, which the group acquired in December 2005.
