Cement Production Up 18.4% yoy In May To 1.3 Mln Mt.

January-May growth reached 8.9% yoy to 4.2 mln mt. In related news, two of Ukraine’s largest cement producers, Dniprocement and Balcem announced production increases. Balcem increased output by 69.6% to 275.4 ths mt in May. Dniprocement posted 36.7% yoy growth in cement production in May to 67 ths mt. Concorde Capital: The increase in cement production is connected to construction, which posted 8.2% yoy growth in January-May.
