The net revenue of Centrenergo (CEEN: HOLD) reached USD 270 mln for 1Q05-3Q05 (18.9% growth yoy). The company posted a USD 15 mln net income (compared to USD 1 mln year ago). Concorde Capital: CEEN?s revenue growth is not connected to an increase in physical output, the company?s output decreased by 3% and could drop even further after restrictions on Vostokenergo?s power plants are lifted. The real reason for the rise in revenue is an increase in the company?s electricity tariff by nearly 27%. Tariff growth has been boosted by the state?s program of CapEx support via electricity tariff surcharges, and increases in fuel costs.
