Coal Energy raises coal output 1.6x y-o-y in 4M of FY2012

Coal Energy (CLE PW), a Ukrainian coal producer, increased coal output 62% y-o-y to 588 ths mt for the first four months of its 2012 financial year, it reported yesterday. In October, the company obtained 129,570 mt of coal from mining and 17,409 mt of coal from waste recycling. The company’s targeted 2.9 mln mt of coal output in FY2012 (242 ths mt per month, on average) looks conditional on commissioning new longwalls and new waste recycling facilities.
