Dniproshyna to produce Goodyear brand tires

Dniproshyna (DNSH: N/R) President Vitaliy Verbas said yesterday that the company is about to start production of tires under the Goodyear brand on an off-take basis (Goodyear will buy back all tires produced by Dniproshyna under the Goodyear brand). According to Verbas, Goodyear sees annual production of branded tires by Dniproshyna at ~0.5 mln units. Verbas alsosaid thatDniproshyna plans to spend EUR 15 mln by 2011, to double production of car tires under its own brands, to 0.4 mln units annually.
