Dniprovahonmash Launches Production of Flat Railcars

Dniprovahonmash (DNVM: N/R) said that it has begun production of flat railcars designed for large-capacity containers, according to Ukrrudprom. The flatcars can carry up to 72 mt. Dniprovahonmash’s expansion of its product portfolio is part of its strategy to recover sales, which were down 21.6% yoy in 2006 to USD 96 mln. In 1H07 the company posted sales of USD 71.9 mln (up 62.4% yoy).
