EBRD Investments In Ukraine Could Reach EUR 550 Mln In 2006.

According to the Head of the EBRD office in Ukraine, Kamen Zakhariev, the bank plans to invest EUR 550 mln in Ukraine’s economy this year. In 2006 EBRD is going to fuel the funds into manufacturing, metallurgy in particular to finance energy-saving technologies, banking and municipal infrastructure. In 2005 EBRD investments in Ukraine amounted to EUR 530 mln. Since 1993 the EBRD has provided Ukraine with funds totaling EUR 1.9 bln.
