Electricity Export Grows 14% In 10M

Ukraine increased electricity export by 14% during 10M, to 8.27 TWh (6% of internal electricity output). Exports are nearly equally distributed between CIS countries: Belarus and Moldova; and UCTE countries: Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. Alexander Paraschiy: With the start of exports to Russia in November, we expect Ukraine to increase exports by 20% yoy in 2006, to 10.0 TWh.
