Agroton plans IPO in Warsaw in 2010

Agroton holding is planning to conduct an IPO on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2010, Interfax reported yesterday. Agroton would become the third Ukrainian agricultural company to list in Warsaw after Astarta (AST PW) and Kernel (KER PW). Agroton was established in 1992 and controls 134 ths ha of land and 235 ths mt of storage capacity in grain elevators. It produces cereal and oil crops, raises and processes livestock, and manufactures baked goods, noodles, and cheese.
