Akhmetov Talks IPO With NYSE In Davos

Rinat Akhmetov, the owner of Ukraine’s largest business group, System Capital Management (SCM), met with top executives from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. According to media reports, Akhmetov discussed the possible IPO of some SCM’s assets. SCM’s largest assets include its metals and mining wing, Metinvest, its energy wing The Donetsk Fuel and Energy Company (DTEC) and its banking and financial group.
