Alchevsk Steel 8M06 Rolled Steel Output Up 15.7%.

The company (ALMK: HOLD) produced 2.21m mt of steel products in Jan-Aug (up 15.7% yoy) and 2.56m mt of crude steel (up 7.3% yoy). Andriy Gostik: ALMK is in the process of building up its steel-making capacities, starting with the launch earlier this year of a new concasting machine with a capacity of ~2.5m mt a year of slabs.
