An-148-200 first test flight slated for 2010

The Antonov Design Bureau announced yesterday that the An-148-200, a modified An-148 with a 1.7 m lengthened fuselage, is due to undergo certification and test flights in early 2010, Interfax reported. The An-148-200 is designed to carry up to 99 passengers at up to 2,500 km at a top speed of 870 km/h. The plane is outfitted with twin Motor Sich (MSICH) D-436-148 engines.
