Antimonopoly Committee asks sunflower oil producers to reduce prices

Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has asked Kernel Trade (part of Kernel Group (KER PW)), Suntrade, and the Pologovskiy Oil Extraction Plant to reduce their wholesale/retail prices for sunflower oil, said acting chairman Aleksandr Melnichenko yesterday. The companies have 20 days to respond to the antimonopoly committee. According to Interfax, the price of sunflowers decreased by about 24% in October, though retail prices for sunflower oil declined only 2.7%.
