Astarta harvests 1 mln mt of sugar beets

Astarta (AST PW) announced yesterday in a press release that as of November 3 it harvested 1.1 mln mt of sugar beets from 28 ths ha (83% of its total planted area). The yield exceeds 44 mt/ha, vs. the Ukrainian average of 30 mt/ha. As of November 2, the company said its sugar plants produced 134 ths mt of sugar from 900 ths mt of sugar beets.
