Astarta Increases Arable Land via Acquisition

According to Astarta (AST PW: N/R), the Warsaw-traded Ukrainian sugar producer, it has acquired 98% stake in Lan-2007, a Poltava agricultural company that leases 1.7 ths ha of arable land. The takeover increases Astarta’s total land under lease to 104.7 ths ha. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
