AvtoKrAZ to complete 60 truck Turkmen order this month

AvtoKrAZ (KRAZ) plans to complete the delivery of 60 KrAZ-65032 trucks (14 mt capacity) to Turkmenistan this month, Interfax reported this morning. AvtoKrAZ shipped 20 units to Turkmenistan in October, 19 earlier this month and plans to send off the remaining 21 next week. An undisclosed AvtoKrAZ official characterized its market for trucks in Turkmenistan as stable and said that about 100 trucks have been sold there this year. AvtoKrAZ plans to deliver 100-150 vehicles to Turkmenistan in 2010. Yegor Samusenko: In 11M09, AvtoKrAZ produced only 218 trucks, down 15x yoy. However, half of those were made in last two months, which indicates a moderate stabilization in demand for the company’s trucks.
