AvtoZAZ To Finalize Purchase Of Polish Automobile Plant By End Of June

AvtoZAZ plans to buy 20% of Fabryka Samochodow Osobowych (FSO), and will manage a state-owned stake of 60%. At the end of 2004, UkrAvto (which owns 81.59% of AvtoZAZ) repaid USD 180mn of FSO’s debts. AvtoZAZ is FSO’s main customer, as it bought 90% of the plant?s output in 2004.
