Azot Cherkasy Decreases Output By 9.5% yoy To USD 60.2 mln In 3Q05.

Ammonia production decreased by 7.2% to 202.4 ths mt, while output of ammonium nitrate grew by 282% to 50.8 ths mt, urea output also increased by 0.3% to 195.9 ths mt. Concorde Capital: More intensive capital repairs this year lead to the overall decrease in production. The output of ammonium nitrate grew significantly due to a low base during the same period last year. In 3Q04 world prices for urea were relatively high, so the company decided to direct its ammonia for urea, instead of ammonium nitrate. In 9M05 Azot decreased net revenues by 8% to USD 175.7 mln, and posted a net loss of USD 2.8 mln.
