Azot Severodonetsk Shareholder To Address US President, Congress.

James Grant, deputy president of Worldwide Chemical LLC and former member of the U.S. Congress said that the conflict surrounding Azot Severodonetsk will cloud the prospective visit of President Yushchenko to the USA, and is a threat to Ukraine-US relations. Meanwhile, the Economic Court of Donetsk oblast temporarily blocked the transfer of CJSV Azot assets of to the state due to an appeal by one of the CJSV?s creditors. Concorde Capital: The company?s administrative building has been captured by armed men, allegedly under orders from Industrial Policy Ministry and the newly appointed director of the state-owned Azot. The management of the CJSV controls the rest of the enterprise. Alex Rovt, president of IBE Trade (USA), which owns 85% of Worldwide Chemical, refuted a claim by the Ministry of Industrial Policy that Transammonia (Switzerland) had agreed to pay USD 396 mln.  Rovt said he would agree to negotiate an agreement with the government, but no official proposal ever arrived. Deputy PM Kinakh announced again yesterday that he was in favor of a peaceful agreement, with the state receiving a controlling stakein the company.
