Bank Forum To Open Up Shop In Czech Republic.

17 May 2008

Bank Forum (FORM), Ukraine’s 13th largest banks in asset terms is planning to open a representative office in the Czech Republic in the next few months. According to Alexis Pavlov, the head of Form’s international finance department, the bank is waiting for consent from the National Bank of Ukraine before opening an office in Prague. Forum plans to use its Czech office to establish contacts with local banks and increase the trade exchange between the two countries. Having an office in Prague will also give the bank the opportunity to get a foothold in the EU market. In addition to the Czech office, Forum is planning to open offices in Slovakia and Kazakhstan this year.
