Banks receiving financing from EBRD to be named in May

According to Interfax, Anton Usov, the Kyiv-based press secretary of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said that in May the organization will announce the list of Ukrainian banks that will receive financial support. Mr. Usov also noted that previously reported information that the EBRD will support Megabank (MEGA), Ukrsibbank, Ukrsotsbank (USCB), Ukreximbank, Forum (FORM) was not confirmed by the EBRD yet and that there is no final list at the moment. Mr. Usov said that the total sum of support will be about USD 600 mln, which is consistent with previously announced EUR 500 mln.
