BBH Ukraine To Invest USD 2 mln To Expand Pepsi Production

Baltic Beverages Holding (BBH) the holding company for Slavutich (SLAV: BUY) has announced plans to begin producing Pepsi’s 7 Up soft drink and invest USD 2 mln in marketing Pepsi brands in Ukraine.  According to BBH management the company plans to close the gap with its largest competitor, Coca Cola, over the next three years. In 2000, BBH Ukraine signed a 20-year deal with PepsiCo to be the exclusive producer and dealer of Pepsi products in Ukraine. Olha Pankiv: Expansion of Pepsi products in Ukraine is part of BBH’s plans to turnaround their declining market share and meet their goal to be a top two producer in three years.
