Bogdan Motors boosts output 27% yoy in 1Q12

10 April 2012

Bogdan Motors (LUAZ UK) boosted vehicle production 27% yoy to 4,836 units in 1Q12, according to a press release yesterday. Output grew 19% mom to 2,608 units in March.

Roman Dmytrenko: The increase in Bogdan’s output reflects overall growth in new car sales in Ukraine, which we expect will rise 20-25% yoy in 2012. If the company continues making over 2,500 vehicles every month, it will produce 25,000 vehicles this year, which should allow it to post a profit in 2012, after a net loss of UAH 5.9 mln in 2011.
