Cabinet allocates UAH 123 mln to buy An-148s

The Cabinet of Ministers passed a resolution on July 1, which was published on Friday, which provides for the allocation of UAH 123.3 mln to purchase An-148 aircraft via the state leasing company. The funds will be sourced from the government’s stabilization fund. Yegor Samusenko: The approved sum is enough to buy only one airplane, which implies two engine orders for Motor Sich (MSICH), producer of the An-148’s D-436-148 engines. We estimate the value of the contract to be around USD 7 mln.
