According to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine’s decree of June 25, it recommended the National Electricity Regulatory Commission review gas transportation and supply tariffs for gas distribution companies. The decree suggested that tariffs be raised to a level that would fully compensate costs for gas transportation and allow for wage increases in line agreements with trade unions. Alexander Paraschiy: Gas distribution tariffs should have been revised in the first quarter of 2008, when the price of imported gas grew almost 40%. We expect gas distribution and supply tariffs will be raised by 30%-35% by the end of July.
