Cadogan’s Pirkovske and Zagoryanske licenses declared valid by Ministry of Environmental Protection

Cadogan’s Pirkovske and Zagoryanske licenses declared valid by Ministry of Environmental Protection

14 October 2008

Cadogan Petroleum (CAD LN: N/R) announced yesterday that it received written confirmation on October 7 that Ukraine’s Ministry of Environmental Protection revoked its earlier orders nullifying the company’s Pirkovske and Zagoryanske licenses. The Ministry said special permits dated October 19, 2007 issued to Cadogan subsidiaries Astroinvest Energy and Astrogas were valid. The written confirmation follows the Poltava Regional Administrative Court’s ruling upholding the validity of Cadogan’s licenses on September 29.
