Cast Iron exports 20.4% up in 1H05, down 60% in June.

In January-June, cast iron exports grew 20.4%  yoy to 0.517 mln mt or USD 132.67 mln  However, cast iron exports dropped 60% mom in June to 0.024 mt.Proceeds from cast iron export fell 67.7% mom to 5.3 mln USD. Italy was the largest buyer of Ukrainian steel in June, buying 0.013 mt, which accounted for 58% of total exports. In 2004 cast iron exports increased 42.1% to 1.290 mt.
