Cellular & Computer-Based Communication Revenues Continue To Grow

Cellular & Computer-Based Communication Revenues Continue To Grow

24 May 2008

In April 2005, revenues from cellular mobile services grew 44% yoy, and computer-based (internet and VoIP) communication revenues grew 30% yoy. Fixed revenues grew slower in April: 16% yoy for local services, and LD (including international and fixed-to-mobile) by 8%. Concorde Capital: Cellular and internet-based communications continued to grow in line with last year’s dynamics. The decrease in the long?distance revenue growth rate (in 2004 it grew 30% yoy), is evidence of a slowdown in the dynamics of fixed-to-mobile calls, due increasing mobile-to-mobile traffic.
