Central Iron Ore raises net income by 4.1x y-o-y in 1Q11

Central Iron Ore (UX: CGOK UK), part of Metinvest Group, increased revenues by 93.7% y-o-y to UAH 1.47 bln in 1Q11, Interfax reported yesterday. Net income grew by 4x y-o-y to UAH 573 mln. In 5M11, Central Iron Ore produced 847 ths mt of pellets (down 5.2% y-o-y) and 2.56 mln mt of concentrate (up 2.8% y-o-y).
