Coca-Cola Ukraine ready to spend USD 32 mln on Ukraine in 2009

Coca-Cola Ukraine General Manager Douglas Hill said yesterday at a conference in Kyiv that the company is ready to invest USD 32 mln in Ukraine this year. In his words, “this is the time to look around for bargains.” Hill also announced Coca-Cola Ukraine has completed the purchase of the Yarilo soft drink plant (Zaporizhya). The acquisition adds kvas, a fermented mildly alcoholic beverage made from black or rye bread that is a traditional Eastern European drink, to the Coca-Cola product line.
