Commerzbank Eyes 75% Stake in Bank Forum

According to news reports, Germany’s Commerzbank intends to acquire a 75% stake in Bank Forum (FORM: BUY), Ukraine’s #14 bank in terms of assets, and is currently undergoing due diligence. Other potential buyers of Bank Forum are believed to be Citibank and the National Bank of Greece, the latter of which has reportedly agreed to purchase Ukraine’s Kreditprombank.
