CPI Hits 2.9% in January

According to the State Statistics Committee, CPI was 2.9% in January. The inflation was driven mainly by an upsurge in prices for food (+4.3%) and transportation services (+2.6%) prices. Main contributors to inflation growth were vegetables (+17.7% mom), fruits (+5.8%) and vegetable oil (+5.1%).
