According to the State Statistics Committee, Ukraine’s CPI slowed for the first time in three months to 20.9% yoy over the last year, down from 22.3% yoy as of end-January. Bloomberg consensus forecasts had put the figure at 21.7% yoy. For the month of February consumer prices climbed 1.5% mom, off from 2.9% mom in January. PPI, meanwhile, rose 19% over the last 12 months (vs. 20.4% as of end-January), up 1.8% mom (vs. 0.2% in January).
