Current Account Deficit Reaches 1.5% Of GDP

According to the National Bank (NBU), in 2006 Ukraine’s current account deficit grew to USD 1.6 bln or 1.5% of GDP.  In 2005 Ukraine had a current account surplus of USD 2.5 bln or 3.1% of GDP.
