Czech PPF Group Buys Agrobank and Privat Credit.

PPF Group, a major Czech insurance and financial group, announced on Friday that its subsidiary Home Credit had agreed to purchase Ukraine’s Agrobank and the financial company Privat Credit. The value of the deal was not disclosed. Agrobank is Ukraine’s 54th-largest bank by assets. Privat Credit provides credit for home appliances and has over 1000 offices in 150 Ukrainian cities. PPF said its entry to Ukraine was in line with its expansion around Central and Eastern Europe and that it was interested in more acquisitions in Ukraine’s credit and financial sectors.
